Loukas Petrou

Loukas Petrou received the PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Cyprus in June 2023. Previously, he had obtained the MSc in Analogue and Digital Integrated Circuit Design from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering,Imperial College London, in September 2017 and the BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Cyprus, in June 2016.

Currently, Loukas works as a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Cyprus, continuing his PhD research in developing asynchronous digital chiplets for advancing the technology of metamaterials. Other research interests include mixed-signal and RF integrated circuits for future emerging technologies as well as asynchronous networks-on-chip and globally-asynchronous locally-synchronous circuits for ICT systems, biomedical systems and sensor systems. In the near future, Loukas will expand his research interests towards integrated circuits for space applications.
